Exploration of Characteristic Software Engineering Major Construction for EDA Direction

Abstract
At present,the design and development of electronic automation design(EDA)industrial software is one of the bottleneck technol-ogies in China's industrial development,and there is an urgent need to cultivate relevant professional talents.The construction of EDA industri-al software majors in China has just begun,and many aspects are still in the exploratory stage.In response to this issue,the School of Software at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China has established a faculty team from scratch,developed teaching syllabi and lesson plans,selected suitable textbooks,built experimental platforms,trained teachers,strengthened cooperation with domestic EDA compa-nies,and achieved preliminary results in the construction of EDA direction for characteristic software engineering majors.Summarizing the ex-perience,difficulties,ideas,experiences,and lessons learned in the construction process,it is believed that the integration of software engi-neering,microelectronics,computer science,applied mathematics,and physics is the key.关键词
