Prioritizing the Development of Youth Sports:Basic Connotation,Key Situations and Measures
摘要
Abstract
The new Sports Law mandates the state to prioritize the development of youth sports and sports in schools,which indicates that at present,China's youth sports confront several new challenges including:addressing developmental shortcomings in youth sports to expedite the establishment of a leading sporting nation,tackling policy challenges in youth sports development to enhance the integration of sports and education,realizing the educational potential of youth sports to fulfill the fundamental task of moral and talent education,disseminating specialized sports skills among youth to preserve the international competitiveness in sports,and optimizing the allocation of youth sports resources to align with demographic shifts in youth populations.The country prioritizing the development of youth sports should translate the concept into specific public policies,increase excellent physical fitness and health among young people,enhance the results of talent cultivation in sports reserves,improve the youth sports event system,intensify the reform of sports schools,nurture and developing social organizations for youth sports,and disseminate specialized sports skills for young people.关键词
