Coupling Effect Analysis of Soil Organic Carbon Storage and Soil Water Storage in Ziziphus jujuba Forests on Abandoned Barren Hills in Loess Hilly Region
摘要
Abstract
Soil organic carbon and soil moisture are important driving factors for the sustainable develop-ment of terrestrial ecosystems in loess hilly region.Abandoned land has an important impact on soil organic carbon storage(SOCS)and soil water storage(SWS).In order to study the response of SOCS and SWS to the years of abandonment and their coupling relationship,we selected jujuba forests in the Qijiashan Jujube Experiment Demonstration Base as the research objects. The results showed 1)in the study area,SOCS showed a significant increase with the increase of abandonment years in the surface layer(0-20 cm)of the soil, and both SOCS and SWS showed positive correlations with different abandonment years.2)Compre-hensive trade-off analysis and root-mean-square error calculation revealed that 10a of abandonment was the most suitable time for the transformation of mountainous jujube forests. However, considering the econom-ic income of the farmers and investment in the transformation,it is recommended that the jujube forest should be transformed at 3-6 years after the forest was abandoned, and the effects of soil nitrogen and phosphorus on the jujube forests should be considered. The results of this study can provide data support and scientific basis for transformation of abandoned mountainous jujube forests in the future.关键词
