Design and Application of Intelligent Stormwater and Sewage Diversion Wells in High-density Urban Areas

Abstract
With the rapid development of urbanization,the drainage facilities in old urban areas are seriously lagging behind.In many old urban areas,that the age of construction or poor standards,drainage systems that mostly are the combined flow system,or some misconnected and mixed rainwater and sewage pipelines even in the diversion sys-tem,cause disorderly discharge of rainwater and sewage in the residential quarters.Meanwhile,restricted space is the main challenge of these high-density urban areas for rainwater and sewage diversion retrofitting.So,the design and application of intelligent stormwater and sewage diversion wells in high-density urban areas is discussed in this paper,their design concepts and working mechanisms are described in detail.Taking the Tiankeng Water Basin in Shenzhen City as an example,the performance in practical applications is evaluated to improve urban storm water and sewage management.关键词
