Abstract

The concept of low impact development(LID)offers new solutions to urban water problems in China,such as flooding,non-point source pollution and water ecology damage caused by urbanization.Combined grey-green in-frastructure can reduce both runoff and pollution.However,there is a lack of quantitative basis for the sponge ca-pacity,the storage capacity of green infrastructure and the design of key parameters.This study employs SWMM model simulation,numerical calculation and on-site measurements to assess the background sponge capacity.By combining the comprehensive runoff coefficient method,the degree of water-sensitive areas are identified in the study areas.The proportion of land parcels are categorized as excellent,good,moderate,poor,and extremely poor in terms of sponge capacity is 8.6%,9.1%,24.6%,55.0%,and 2.7%,respectively.The majority of the drainage areas are graded as moderate and poor;Combined with field measurements and RECARGA model simulation,the sponge capacity of green infrastructure and the inflow parameters of gray facilities are clarified.The results indicate that green infrastructure shows a more pronounced response to rainfall intensity than changes of filler thickness.Sys-tematic scheme design is carried out from two aspects of optimization of the drainage pipe system and the gray-green combined drainage system.The study establishes a technical path for the technical path of gray-green combined drainage regulation,providing an effective basis for selecting key design parameters and formulating pipeline reno-vation schemes.
