Abstract

Air pollution is one of the greatest environmental threats to public health,urban parks serve as natural biofilters,and studying the influencing factors of urban park in regulating PM2.5 concentrations has a positive effect on improving air quality and the health of the residents.This study selected Xi'an Daming-gong National Heritage Park as the research object,and conducted one-year on-site measurements from De-cember 2022 to November 2023 to explore the influencing factors of the park in regulating the spatial and temporal distributions of PM2.5 concentrations based on the land use regression model(LUR).The results showed that 1)the land use regression model constructed by key factors(distance from the main road,Shannon diversity,and green space factor)to regulate the influence of spatial and temporal distributions of PM2.5 concentrations in the park was feasible.The correlation coefficient R2 of the model was 0.671(P<0.001),which indicated a strong correlation.The R was 0.629(P<0.001)after leave-one-out cross-vali-dation,indicating a good model fitting performance.2)Among the meteorological factors,PM2.5 concentra-tion decreased as temperature increased,relative humidity decreased,and wind speed increased.3)The dai-ly trend of PM2.5 concentrations in the park showed a continuous decrease from 8:00 a.m to 18:00 p.m.The seasonal variation of PM2.5 concentration was in the order of winter>spring>autumn>summer,which may be related to the fact that Xi'an is in the coal-fired heating period from November to March each year.The conclusion of the study provides a scientific basis for future urban green space planning and con-struction oriented to purify air quality.
