Enhancing Oil Recovery of Shale Oil Reservoirs through Spontaneous Imbibition and CO2 Huff-Puff:A Case Study of Lucaogou Formation in Jimsar
摘要
Abstract
Based on NMR,by means of spontaneous imbibition and CO2 huff-puff experiments, the oil recovery and minimum oil moving pore radius of three types of cores of Jimusar Lucaogou Formation under different development modes were studied, and the influence of core water content on CO2 huff-puff effect after spontaneous imbibition was also analyzed. The results show that the core pores are domi-nated by micropores and mesopores smaller than 50 nm.The minimum oil moving pore radius is 10~28 nm for imbibition and 7~20 nm for CO2 huff-puff separately. The existence of macropores and microfractures can greatly enhance the contact area between imbibition liquid and rock core to improve the oil washing efficiency in the mesopores. At the same time,it can increase the sweeping area of CO2 in the micropores to improve the oil recovery in the micropores. The presence of imbibition liquid in the core pores after imbibition can reduce the minimum oil moving pore radius in CO2 huff-puff and promote the spread of CO2 in the micropores to improve the core oil re-covery.However,the excessive presence of imbibition liquid in the core will have a certain inhibitory effect on CO2 huff-puff.In the pro-duction process of shale oil reservoirs, increasing the density of artificial fractures and selecting the appropriate timing for CO2 injection can greatly increase the oil recovery in pores of different sizes, there by improving the recovery of shale oil reservoirs.关键词
