Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of transurethral plasma bipolar resection of the prostate in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH).Methods 80 patients with BPH were divided into two groups according to different surgical methods.The reference group was treated with conventional transurethral resection of the prostate,and the study group was treated with transurethral plasma bipolar resection of the prostate.The perioperative indicators,symptom improvement and complications were compared between the two groups.Results The intraoperative blood loss amount of the study group was significantly less than that of the reference group,and the operation time and hospitalization time were significantly shorter than those of the reference group(P＜0.05).At 3 months after surgery,the IPSS score of the study group was significantly lower than that of the reference group(P＜0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications of the study group was 5.00％,significantly lower than 22.50％of the reference group(P＜0.05).Conclusions Transurethral plasma bipolar resection of the prostate in the treatment of BPH can obviously alleviate the prostate discomfort symptoms,reduce the occurrence risk of complications,and promote the rehabilitation of patients.关键词
