摘要

Abstract

High-entropy carbon/nitrogen/boride ceramics garner significant attention due to their exceptional thermal stability and corrosion resistance.However,their inherent brittleness result in relatively low fracture toughness,making them prone to fracture under external forces.This limitation restrict their application in engineering fields.Currently,there is a lack of systematic reviews on toughening strategies for high-entropy carbon/nitrogen/boride ceramics.Therefore,the toughening techniques for high-entropy carbon/nitrogen/boride ceramic materials are summarized and compared in this paper,and an in-depth discussion of the toughening mechanisms is provided.These mechanisms often involve the synergistic effect of multiple toughening processes.In the future,targeted production of high-performance products meeting specific requirements will be essential to promote the widespread application of high-entropy carbon/nitrogen/boride ceramics across various fields.
