Exploration and Reflection on The Cultivation of Talents in Agriculture-related Universities in the New Era:Taking Yangzhou University as an Example

Abstract
The construction of an agricultural power in the new era imposes new demands on the cultivation of agricultural talents within comprehensive universities.Using Yangzhou University's"Three Widths and Four Goods"high-quality talent training program as a case study,the focus is on solidifying ideological guidance,optimizing disciplinary frameworks,precisely cultivating agricultural talents,and adopting an innovative collaborative educational approach.This approach has developed a"field-type"practical education model that encompasses"Cognitive Field-Experimental Field-Double Innovation Field-Responsible Field."It delves into the exploratory practices of agriculture-related colleges and universities in the new era for training high-quality"new farmers."To nurture top-tier talents suited for the new era,agriculture-related colleges and universities must diligently grasp the correct direction,the mission of the times,key tasks,and societal needs.They should implement ideological and political education,advance the construction of new agricultural sciences,enhance the quality of personnel training,and promote high-quality development in service sectors.关键词
