On the Current Situation and Countermeasures of Higher Education Reaching to Rural Areas under the Background of Popularization
摘要
Abstract
The extension of higher education into rural areas is a necessary route for the universalization of higher education and an inevitable demand for China's modernization and rural revitalization.Since the popularization of higher education,the enrollment of rural students has seen a rapid increase,signifying substantial progress in the outreach of higher education to rural regions.However,several challenges persist,such as the low enrollment rate of rural students,the limited enthusiasm among rural adults for higher education,the small number of graduates returning to rural areas,and the inadequate focus of county-level universities on providing scientific and technological services to rural communities.To advance the integration of higher education in rural areas,it is essential for the government to engage in scientific planning and strategic layout,enhance policy guidance,for colleges and universities to accurately define their roles,actively fulfill their duties and responsibilities,for society to actively support educational initiatives,create favorable conditions,and for villagers to transform their learning attitudes and embrace the concept of lifelong education.关键词
