The amalgamation of education,science,and technology,as well as the convergence of education and industry,plays a pivotal role in the educational and scientific reform.This study examines the integration of science and technology talent within agricultural universities,using Northwest A&F University as a case study.The university has contributed to the strategic initiative of establishing an agricultural powerhouse by facilitating transformative upgrading and remolding the framework of academic disciplines and majors.It concentrates on surmounting critical core technological challenges,reinforcing the fusion of educational and scientific endeavors,and bolstering high-level scientific and technological self-reliance and autonomy.By deepening the integration of industry and education,the university expedites the cultivation of distinguished talent in agriculture and forestry.Oriented towards the future trajectory of agricultural development,Northwest A&F University accelerates the development of the Future Agriculture Research Institute,pioneering a novel paradigm for the integration of education,science,and technology talent.The university persistently investigates the mechanism underpinning the virtuous cycle of this integration,thereby underwriting the realization of an educational powerhouse,a talent powerhouse,and an agricultural powerhouse,in addition to the comprehensive advancement of rural revitalization and the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.
