Bibliometrics and Visualization Analysis of Pharmacists'Participation in Antimicrobial Stewardship Based on WOS Database

Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To carry out bibliometrics and visualization analysis of domestic and foreign pharmacists'participation in antimicrobial stewardship,so as to reveal the research hot spots in this field and provide reference for future research.METHODS:Web of Science database was retrieved until Oct.13th,2023,the keywords were"pharmacist""antimicrobial stewardship""antibiotic stewardship program""antimicrobial resistance"and"infection".CiteSpace software and VOSviewer was used to detect the emergence of citation,the co-occurrence map of keywords was drawn,and the annual number of publications,countries,authors and institutions were analyzed by bibliometrics.Research status and hot spots of pharmacists'participation in antimicrobial stewardship were analyzed.RESULTS:A total of 2 991 articles in English were retrieved,with the largest number of publications in the United States and the United Kingdom.Research hot spots mainly focused on antimicrobial stewardship,antimicrobial resistance,infection,pharmacists,guidelines,intervention,outcomes and other topics.CONCLUSIONS:Pharmacists'(especially full-time anti-infective pharmacists and community pharmacists)participation in antimicrobial stewardship to reduce bacterial resistance may be the hot spot and trend for future research,which will help to improve the application rationality of antibiotics in the clinic,and reduce the expenditure of antibiotics costs,occurrence of adverse drug reactions,and development of bacterial resistance.关键词
