Abstract
Objective To study the effect of ultrasonic bone knife combined with turbodrill on mandibular impacted teeth on trauma and complications.Methods A total of 122 patients with mandibular proximal and low level forward impacted teeth who were treated in our Taizhou Central Hospital(Taizhou University Hospital)from February 2019 to January 2022 were selected and divided into turbodrill group(61 cases)and combined treatment group(61 cases)according to random table method.Both groups underwent conventional anesthesia and conical beam CT examination.The patients with vorticity were treated with turbodrill on a conventional basis.Patients in combined treatment group were treated with ultrasonic bone knife combined with turbodrill.The extraction time,intraoperative blood loss,mouth opening limitation,swelling degree and pain degree were observed.The incidence of trauma and complications were measured,and the quality of life was scored by item short from health survey(SF-36)scale.Results The intraoperative blood loss and tooth extraction time of combined treatment group were lower than those of the turbodrill group(P＜0.05).Patients in combined treatment group had lower mouth opening,swelling,and pain than those in boneknife group(P＜0.05).The incidence of postoperative tooth root displacement,alveolar bone fracture,soft tissue injury and tooth root fracture in combined treatment group were lower than those in boneknife group(P＜0.05).The incidence of postoperative dry groove lbleeding and severe swelling in combined treatment group were lower than those in turbodrill group(P＜0.05).The SF-36 score of the postoperative combined treatment group were higher than that of turbodrill group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of ultrasonic bone knife and turbodrill have significant therapeutic effects on mandibular impacted teeth,with minimal surgical trauma,reduced bleeding,extraction time,and incidence of complications,and improved patient quality of life.This plan has certain clinical application value.关键词
