Reference Interval of Hearing Threshold in Older Adults Based on Hearing Loss Grades:A Narrow Review
摘要
Abstract
Preventing hearing loss in older adults is economical,effective and feasible.Incorporating hearing tests into physical examinations and daily monitoring is one of the effective methods,which requires the establishment of ac-curate hearing threshold reference intervals(RI)that match the target population.At present,few studies on hearing threshold reference intervals for older adults exist either at home or abroad,while most studies on hearing loss grades are from a clinical perspective.In this paper,we will review the current status and progress of studies on hearing loss grades in China and other countries based on existing representative hearing loss grades,summarize the characteristics of specific hearing threshold ranges in hearing loss grades,and make suggestions for the establishment of reference inter-vals for hearing thresholds in older adults.关键词
