Abstract
Objective:To explore the effects of nursing risk management in respiratory and critical care medicine on patients with severe pneumonia undergoing mechanical ventilation.Method:100 eligible patients with severe pneumonia receiving mechanical ventilation admitted to the Department of Intensive Care Medicine of the Second Affiliated Hospital of the University of South China from May 2021 to May 2023 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,while the observation group received nursing risk management.Blood gas analysis indicators,nursing risk events,duration of mechanical ventilation and length of hospital stay were evaluated in both groups.Result:After nursing,the partial pressure of arterial blood oxygen and saturation of arterial blood oxygen in observation group were higher than those in control group,and the fraction of arterial blood carbon dioxide was lower than those in control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing,the total incidence of nursing risk events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing,the mechanical ventilation time and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Nursing risk management for patients with severe pneumonia undergoing mechanical ventilation can effectively reduce the occurrence of adverse events,improve blood gas analysis indexes and shorten the time of mechanical ventilation and hospital stay.关键词
