Abstract
Objective:To study the improvement effect of dexamethasone intravitreal implantation on visual acuity in patients with retinal vein occlusion(RVO)and macular edema.Method:A total of 106 patients with RVO with macular edema admitted to the Ophthalmology Department of Quanzhou First Hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the subjects.They were divided into control group and test group by random number table method,with 53 cases in each group.And then the cases of control group were treated with lezumab alone,while the cases of text group were treated with dexamethasone intravitreal implant alone.The visual acuity level and the thickness of macular fovea were monitored before and after treatment,the incidence of adverse reactions was calculated,and the quality of life of patients was evaluated.Result:The visual acuity level of the experimental group was better than that of the control group 3 and 6 months after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The macular fovea thickness in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group 6 months after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The visual related quality of life score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group 6 months after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Dexamethasone intravitreal implant in the treatment of RVO patients with macular edema can better improve the long-term vision level and symptoms of macular edema,and the quality of life of patients is better.关键词
