Abstract

The magnetic coupling parameters between the receiving and transmitting ends in an omnidirectional three-excitation wireless power transfer ( WPT ) system are important factors affecting the transmission efficiency of the system,and an effective identification of the coupling parameters is the key to the maximum efficiency of the omnidirectional WPT system.In this paper,a mathematical description of the harmonics of inverter output voltage is given when a high-frequency inverter is used as the excitation source of the transmitting coil.Under the condition of a phase shift angle of π/3,the harmonics are ignored,and the output square wave voltage is approximately replaced by a fundamental wave whose waveform has a standard sinusoidal shape.On this basis,a mathematical model of the effective value of current at the transmitting end of the system is derived.An improved genetic algorithm is introduced,the parameter identification problem is converted into a global optimization problem,and the magnetic coupling parameter identification method based on this model is given.Simulation and experimental results verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
