Abstract
The spirit of historical initiative is the key factor for the party to lead the people to grasp the historical initiative and create great glory in the course of a century of struggle,and is the spiritual character of young people to forge ahead in the new his-torical journey and constantly realize their own development in promoting socialist modernization.To cultivate the historical initia-tive of young people,it is necessary to adhere to the theoretical guidance of materialist historical outlook and subjective initiative,enhance young people's ability to understand historical laws,the driving force for transforming historical reality,and the strength to promote historical development.With the goal of cultivating young people's self-confident and self-reliant mental state,the spir-it of hard work,and the moral character of responsibility,we should cultivate the historical initiative spirit of young people,so that young people will constantly change from passive to active in practice and spirit,and forge their initiative and fighting spirit in the historical journey of promoting modernization.To cultivate the historical initiative of young people,it is necessary to enhance the consciousness of young people as the main body in Marxist theoretical education,guide young people to flexibly use the party's century-long struggle experience in pioneering and enterprising,and cultivate young people to consciously promote the process of social history in assuming responsibility.关键词
