Research on the examining foreign regulations that govern the use of preservatives in Chinese cosmetic exports

Abstract
In order to gain an understanding of the regulatory requirements of cosmetic preservative raw materials in ASEAN,the EU,the US,Japan and China,domestic and foreign regulations and literature was collected.Our focus was on the overview of the primary regulatory documents of preservative raw materials in each country and the management of preservative raw materials.In addition,we compared the use limits of preservatives commonly used in the domestic industry in each country.The results demonstrate that ASEAN,the European Union,Japan,and the United States all have regulations governing the use of permitted preservatives.However,the European Union and Japan have dynamic updating mechanisms,while the United States does not.Additionally,the European Union and Japan have lists of permitted preservatives,while the United States does not.Finally,suggestions are put forward for the use of preservative materials in cosmetics exported from ChinaChina has proposed regulations governing the use of preservative raw materials for export cosmetics.关键词
