New Quality Productivity,Chinese-style Modernization of Industrial Chain,and Common Prosperity

Abstract
New quality productivity,led by technological innovation,promotes fundamental changes in production methods,business models and development drivers,thereby improving the modernization level of the industrial chain and ensuring that the development achievements of various modern industries benefit all people more fairly,bringing new opportunities for solidly pro-moting common prosperity.This paper selects the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2010 to 2022,and uses a two-way fixed effects model and a mechanism effect model to empirically analyze the impact of new quality productivity on common pros-perity and the mediating role of Chinese-style industrial chain modernization.The research results show that new quality produc-tivity can significantly promote common prosperity,and that this conclusion still holds after robustness and endogeneity tests.Het-erogeneity analysis finds that in the eastern region and the regions with higher development levels of common prosperity,the pro-motion effect of new quality productivity on common prosperity is more significant.Further research shows that new quality pro-ductivity can indirectly promote common prosperity by empowering the Chinese-style modernization of industrial chain.关键词
