Abstract
Digital rural construction is a powerful means to achieve modernization of agriculture and rural areas,as well as an important support for promoting high-quality integrated development of urban and rural areas.Based on the panel data of 30 prov-inces in China from 2007 to 2022,this paper empirically tests the impact of digital rural construction on high-quality integrated development of urban and rural areas and its mechanism.The results show that the digital rural construction has a significant posi-tive driving effect on the high-quality integrated development of urban and rural areas,and that this conclusion still holds after ro-bustness test.The results of the intermediary effect test show that the digital rural construction can promote the high-quality inte-grated development of urban and rural areas by improving the activity degree of innovation and entrepreneurship,and that the con-clusion also passes the robustness test.The results of heterogeneity test show that the digital rural construction has a more signifi-cant promoting effect on the high-quality integrated development of urban and rural areas in provinces with high income levels,youth groups,high education levels and high digital literacy.关键词
