Impact of New Quality Productivity and Technological Innovation Diffusion on Development of Circular Economy—An Empirical Analysis Based on the Yangtze River Economic Belt

Abstract
Based on the statistical data of 11 provinces in the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2011 to 2022,this paper constructs a fixed effect model to empirically test the impact of new quality productivity and technological innovation diffusion on circular economy.Furthermore,this paper constructs a moderation effect model to examine the mechanism of industrial structure upgrading in the impact of new quality productivity and technological innovation diffusion on circular economy.The results are shown as follows:New quality productivity and technological innovation diffusion can significantly promote the development of cir-cular economy,and their effects are heterogeneous in different regions.The impact of new quality productivity on the development of circular economy is significantly positive in the downstream regions,significantly negative in the upstream regions,and insignif-icant in the midstream regions.The impact of technological innovation diffusion on the development of circular economy is signifi-cantly positive in the upstream and midstream regions,but not significantly in the downstream regions.In the process of promoting the development of circular economy,the upgrading of industrial structure plays a positive regulatory role.关键词
