摘要

Abstract

Carnation is a type of cut flower with significant economic value in the global flower market.The floral longevity of carnations is closely related to various post-harvest physiological processes.Chemical preservation,due to its cost-effectiveness and ease of operation,has been extensively used in the preservation of carnation cut flowers.To promote the sustainable growth of the fresh-cut carnation industry,this paper had comprehensively an-alyzed the current development status and issues associated with chemical preservatives for carnations both domesti-cally and internationally.Furthermore,it summarized the research status of the material basis of carnation chemical preservatives,reviewed the effects and mechanisms of each component of carnation chemical preservatives,then proposed a new idea for selecting components of carnation cut flower preservatives,and suggested adopting a precise development mode for different applicable scenarios.This would aid in developing environmentally friendly and practical carnation cut flower chemical preservative products that had good market adaptability.
