摘要

Abstract

In order to apply the Ostwald color system to industrial design,a digital Ostwald color solid and its visual chromatogram are constructed through an architectural analysis of the classical Ostwald color system.Firstly,the four primary colors of red,yellow,green and blue are obtained by dyeing with color pigments,and the continuous Ostwald digitised hue ring based on the four primary colors and its mixing chromatogram are constructed by binary coupled mixing.Taking the highest brightness grey and the lowest brightness grey ob-tained from the dyeing of the pigment as the base colors,based on the grey scale axis of classical Ostwald's eight grades of brightness values,the digitised grey scale axes are constructed based on the brightness values of three different modes of equipartition,equipartition,and non-linear increment,respectively.The digital Ostwald color solid is further constructed by using the grey scale axis in the isometric,isotropic and non-linear incremen-tal modes and each pure color block in the hue ring in the ternary coupled mixing mode,respectively,and the color values of 24 isochromatic surfaces,8 isotropic whiteness surfaces,8 isotropic blackness surfaces and 8 iso-tropic purity surfaces in a total of 680 mixing color blocks are given.Finally,the visualisation of digital Ostwald color solid is achieved through the preparation of algorithmic programs and the feasibility of constructing the Ostwald color system based on the six primary colors of red,yellow,green,blue,black and white obtained by dyeing the pigment is verified.
