On the Evaluation of Key Consumables Suppliers to Boost the High Quality Development of Testing Laboratories

Abstract
Article 6.6 of the Accreditation Criteria for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories requires the evaluation,selection,performance monitoring,and revaluation of testing laboratory suppliers in externally provided products and services.Key consumables suppliers for testing laboratories are mainly divided into two types:producers and sellers.Among them,the evaluation indicators for producers include resource requirements,warehousing and logistics requirements,service provision and delivery requirements,continuous improvement,product design and development,raw material control,production control,testing control,and non-conforming product control.The evaluation indicators for sellers include resource requirements,warehousing and logistics requirements service provision and delivery requirements,continuous improvement.In addition,the process of supplier evaluation in the testing laboratory includes material review,evaluation preparation,evaluation implementation,result evaluation,and supervision review.By establishing a supplier evaluation system for key consumables,it can provide a basis for the procurement of key consumables in subsequent testing laboratories,making the procurement of key consumables in laboratories more scientific,reasonable,and effective,Boosting the high-quality development of testing laboratories.关键词
