基于空间差异视角下农村老年人自评健康及其社会参与的影响
The Influence of Self-rated Health Status and Social Participation Among Rural Elderly from a Spatial Difference Perspective

Abstract
The study used 2 years of data from the China health and retirement longitudinal study(CHARLS)in 2018 and 2020.It applied binary Logistic and Order Probit models to analyze the impact of social participation on the self-assessed health status of rural elderly people and examined its spatial differences.Additionally,the study u-tilized the propensity score matching(PSM)method to conduct a balanced test.The results show that social partici-pation can significantly improve the self-assessed health of rural elderly people;there are obvious spatial differences in the role of social participation in improving the self-assessed health status of rural elderly people,with the most significant effect on improving the self-assessed health status of elderly people in rural areas in the west,followed by the central region,and finally the eastern region.On this basis,it is proposed that we should continue to enrich the life of the elderly people,strengthen their health management,and improve the construction of the rural pension service system through government leadership and the concerted efforts of all parties,to provide reference to the im-provement of the self-assessed health status of the rural elderly and their willingness to participate in the society,and to help the elderly people to enjoy a happy twilight life.关键词
