摘要

Abstract

Under the background of the booming new industrial revolution,which is characterized by artificial intelligence(Al)technology,China has determined to develop the civil nuclear energy in a positive,safe and orderly way to achieve the mutual promotion of the"carbon peaking"and"carbon neutrality"goals and the new energy technology development.As a kind of mature and reliable nuclear energy technology,the pressurized water reactor(PWR)technology still has broad development prospects over a long period in the future,despite plenty of problems and challenges faced.The technical features of HPR1000,a self-developed third-generation PWR technology in China is presented in this paper,and its continuous improvements are summarized and the challenges on safety and economy are analyzed.Combining the development status of Al technology with its application practices in the nuclear power energy field,an outlook on the future development of AI technology in the PWR technology field is provided.
