Abstract

This study investigates the bond-slip performance of basalt fiber reinforced polymer(BFRP)bars and basalt fiber-reinforced cemen-titious matrix(BFRCM)materials through central pull-out tests.The effects of bar type,matrix type,bar diameter,and anchorage length on bond performance are analyzed.Based on these findings,a three-stage bond-slip constitutive model for BFRP bars and BFRCM was proposed.Results indicate that the bond strength between BFRP and concrete exceeds that of steel bars,with the bond strength between BFRP bars and mortar slightly lower than that between BFRP bars and concrete.Moreover,the BFRP bar diameter and the fiber volume fraction in the mortar exhibit an inverse relationship with bond strength.Additionally,further analysis reveals that the bond-slip curve comprises micro-slip,slip,descent,and residual stages.Utilizing the ascending segment of the CMR model,the descending segment of the continuous curve model,and the residual segment of the GFRP/steel strand composite bar model,a high-precision bond-slip model for BFRP bars and BFRCM is estab-lished.This study provides a crucial research foundation for the engineering application of BFRP bars and BFRCM.
