Influence of farmers'participation in agricultural industrial organization on technical efficiency of mutton sheep breeding

Abstract
In order to explore the impact of farmers'participation in agricultural industrial organizations on the technical efficiency of meat sheep breeding,this study based on the perspective of micro farmers,took 489 data of meat sheep farmers in 11 provinces from 2013 to 2022 as the research object,and used a propensity score matching method and stochastic frontier analysis method to analyze the impact of farmers'participation in agricultural industrial organizations on the technical efficiency of meat sheep breeding.The results showed that farmers'participation in agricultural industrial organization had a positive effect on the technical efficiency of meat sheep breeding,and this result was still valid after the endogeneity tests of neighbor matching,radius matching and nuclear matching.The research shows that encouraging farmers to actively participate in agricultural industrial organizations is of far-reaching significance for improving the efficiency of mutton sheep breeding and promoting the high-quality development of the entire breeding industry.关键词
