Abstract
AIM To explore the influencing factors of medication compliance in female patients with menopausal metabolic syndrome.METHODS A total of 200 patients with menopausal metabolic syndrome were collected as observation subjects from January 2021 to June 2023.General data of patients such as age,education level,family monthly per capita income,marital status,family support,disease awareness,adverse drug reactions and residence were collected.Morisky Medication Adherence Scale was applied to determine the medication compliance of all patients.A total of 200 questionnaires were distributed and 194 valid questionnaires were recovered,with an effective recovery rate of 97.00％.Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression were applied to analyze the factors affecting medication adherence in female patients with menopausal metabolic syndrome.RESULTS Among 194 patients,71 patients(36.60％)exhibited moderate medication adherence,while 123 patients(63.40％)demonstrated good medication adherence.Univariate analysis revealed that education level,monthly per capita family income,the degree of family support,disease awareness,adverse drug reactions,and residence were factors that influenced medication adherence in women with menopausal metabolic syndrome(P＜0.05).Further multivariate Logistic regression analysis revealed that education level(OR=1.915,95％CI:1.141-3.213),monthly per capita family income(OR=2.273,95％CI:1.200-4.306),family support(OR=1.761,95％CI:1.094-2.835),disease awareness(OR=2.641,95％CI:1.194-5.841),adverse drug reactions(OR=1.548,95％CI:1.036-2.314),residence(OR=2.236,95％CI:1.17-4.475)were risk factors for poor medication adherence in female menopausal patients with metabolic syndrome(P＜0.05).CONCLUSION Education level,per capita household income,family support,disease awareness,adverse reactions,and residence are risk factors that affect the medication compliance of female menopausal patients with metabolic syndrome.Corresponding measures should be taken promptly,and medication guidance and health education should be carried out to improve medication compliance,thereby enhancing treatment efficacy.关键词
