Women's Liberation Movement and Construction of the New Revolutionary Female Image in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Revolutionary Area
摘要
Abstract
Without the liberation and progress of women,there would be no liberation and progress of human society.In the Yan'an Period,in view of women's hardships in Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Revolutionary Area,the Party led the people to practically embark on women's liberation in politics,economy,culture,education,social life,marriage system and other aspects.As a result of the involved image construction,the female figure was transformed from that of a virtuous wife and loving mother to that of a new revolutionary female.Among the many valuable historical experiences thus gathered are:upholding the Party's overall leadership over women's work,paying attention to women's practical needs and vital interests,ensuring women's equal rights of participation in political,economic,cultural and social life,and improving laws and regulations to promote women's liberation.Both the practice of women's liberation in Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Revolutionary Area and the precious experiences accumulated have important theoretical significance and practical value for the ongoing drive in a New Era at protecting women's rights and interests,promoting gender equality and realizing women's liberation in the real sense of the term.关键词
