Time Synchronization Method for Virtual Power Plants Based on Kalman Filter

Abstract
With the increase of distributed energy and the continuous development of power systems,virtual power plants have emerged as an advanced model for integrating distributed energy resources.The key to their coordination process is the time synchronization between various devices,which requires precise and reliable time synchronization technology.This paper is based on the IEEE 1588 precision clock time synchronization protocol(PTP)and designs a Kalman filter based PTP state model optimization method to meet the high-precision time synchronization requirements of virtual power plants.This method dynamically compensates for clock and frequency offsets through iterative Kalman filter,effectively reducing time synchronization errors and achieving high-precision time synchronization for virtual power plants.Through simulation experiments,this method has shown good performance in reducing clock offset and frequency offset,significantly improving synchronization accuracy.The results of this study are of great significance for solving the time synchronization problem in virtual power plants.关键词
