Research on Carbon Emission Reduction Accounting for Pumped Storage Power Stations Based on System Sensitivity Analysis

Abstract
The construction of a new type of power system promotes the large-scale development of pumped storage power stations.Pumped storage power stations play a role in peak shaving,frequency regulation,and reserve capacity in the power system.Pumped storage power stations encourage the power system to reduce the installed capacity of new thermal power,reduce the utilization rate of existing thermal power,and increase the consumption rate of new energy.The carbon emission reduction benefits of pumped storage power stations urgently need to be explored.This article is based on the electricity balance algorithm,Integrate the international market carbon emission reduction baseline method rules,construct an intelligent calculation method that considers the sensitivity of all units'output in the system,and conduct empirical application analysis in actual pumped storage power plants.The results indicate that pumped storage power plants have a carbon reduction effect on the power system,and there is a phenomenon of marginal benefits in emission reduction.This article provides an intelligent method for calculating the quantification of carbon emissions reduction in pumped storage power plants.关键词
