农业新质生产力赋能农业碳减排的机理与效应
Research on the Mechanism and Effect of Agricultural New Quality Productive Forces Empowering Agricultural Carbon Emission Reduction

Abstract
Promoting the low-carbon green transformation of agriculture is an important direction for the construction of a strong agricultural country.Based on the provincial panel data of China from 2012 to 2022,the differential GMM model,the mediating effect model and the panel threshold model are used to empirically test the impact and the action mechanism of agricultural new quality productive forces on agricultural carbon emissions.It is found that the agricultural new quality productive forces significantly reduce the total amount and intensity of agricultural carbon emissions,which is still valid under the regression test and considering endogeneity.Land scale management,agricultural technology progress and rural residents'consumption upgrading are three important paths for agricultural new quality productive forces to affect the total amount and intensity of agricultural carbon emissions.Heterogeneity analysis found that the agricultural new quality productive forces in the three major regions of the eastern,central and western regions has a negative impact on agricultural carbon emissions.In terms of impact,the eastern region is the largest and the western region is the smallest.Further analysis shows that the reduction effect of agricultural new quality productive forces on agricultural carbon emissions is enhanced with the development of agricultural new quality productive forces,and the increase of the proportion of rural population aging and the price index of agricultural means of production will strengthen the carbon emission reduction effect of agricultural new quality productive forces.In this regard,we should establish the new before abolish the old,adjust measures to local conditions,and gradually improve the development level of new quality productive forces according to the actual development of the region,so as to provide new kinetic energy for the low-carbon green development of agriculture.关键词
