摘要

Abstract

The detection of the larger burial depth pipeline is crucial for the construction of underground pipelines in urban areas.In this paper,a comprehensive geophysical survey method is employed for a wastewater pipeline renovation project in Nanjing,China.The approach integrates three underground pipeline detection methods:electromagnetic induction and ground penetrating radar for initial detection and screening of shallow-buried pipelines in the target area,followed by the magnetic gradient method for precise detection of the larger burial depth pipeline.This methodology facilitates accurate determination of the buried depth and location of the target pipeline.While this comprehensive geophysical method incurs higher costs compared to individual methods,it effectively addresses safety risks and potential losses arising from complex geological environments,abundant groundwater,and numerous surface influence factors associated with the larger burial depth pipeline.It holds significant importance for environmentally friendly construction practices as well as safe and orderly project execution.The method is successfully implemented in the project and can offer valuable insights for similar projects in the future.
