Abstract

Colleges and universities are important carriers to serve lifelong learning for all.Under the background of building a learning-oriented soci-ety,colleges and universities should become the radiation center of lifelong learning resources,the coordinating participant of the practice community ser-ving lifelong learning for all,and the breeding carrier and communication medium of lifelong learning culture.Through literature research and case analy-sis,it is found that colleges and universities should be clear in mission orientation from three aspects,including improving continuing education with high-er education qualifications,cooperating with all kinds of education,enterprises,communities,and optimizing the allocation of lifelong learning resources with the help of digital technology.On this basis,colleges and universities should take corresponding action strategies,including strengthening the founda-tion of continuing education throuth quality assurance mechanisms,actively participating in the practice of building service lifelong learning community,releasing the potential of distance education for the whole age group,and optimizing non-academic education to improve public recognition of various forms of learning results.Finally,it is necessary for colleges and universities to spread the culture of lifelong learning and promote the construction of lifelong learning system for all.
