竞合共存背景下的中日韩能源转型合作
Cooperation on Energy Transition Among China,Japan,and South Korea in the Context of Co-opetition

Abstract
Competition and cooperation coexist as the main thread of energy transition relations among China,Japan,and South Korea.Under the combined influence of addressing the climate crisis,achieving carbon neutrality goals,maintaining energy security,fostering new drivers of economic growth,and enhancing national and international competitiveness,the energy transition processes in China,Japan,and South Korea have exhibited a series of new trends.Cooperation in energy transition among China,Japan,and South Korea continues to diverge at the strategic level,with significant accumulative progresses at the local level and rapid development of potential at the private level.It therefore becomes a new research question for tapping into the potential of China-Japan-South Korea energy transition cooperation that focuses on clean energy and promotes synergies,quality upgrades,and efficiency improvements.Factors such as U.S.influence,vulnerable political trust among China,Japan,and South Korea,as well as limited cooperation mechanisms for energy transition among the three countries,have become important obstacles to cooperation.Looking ahead,China-Japan-South Korea energy transition cooperation manifests tremendous potential and bright prospects.The three parties can leverage interventions including enhancing people-to-people connectivity,strategic alignment,institutional innovation,and prioritizing industries and markets,among other aspects,to promote further positive development of China-Japan-South Korea energy transition cooperation.By continuously deepening and expanding cooperation in energy transition,it is expected for the three countries to maximize cooperation in such co-petition and jointly lead a new landscape of safety and development in Northeast Asia.关键词
