With the rapid growth of China's economy,significant technological and theoretical breakthroughs have also been achieved in the field of geotechnical engineering.Especially in the construction process of high slope engineering,in order to ensure the safety of construction and the stability of the project,conducting thorough geotechnical engineering survey and design,as well as meticulous survey work,has become the primary task.In this process,it is not only necessary to conduct in-depth analysis and evaluation of the risks that high slopes may bring,but also to explore the various reasons for their formation.This survey work provides solid theoretical and data support for subsequent slope treatment,paving the way for the smooth progress of the project.In view of this,this article will combine specific polymetallic mining projects to conduct in-depth analysis of high slope engineering,and then discuss in detail the application of geotechnical engineering investigation in high slopes.
