阳离子淀粉包覆改性氢氧化铝在阻燃牛皮纸中的应用
The application of cationic starch coated modified aluminum hydroxide in flame retardant kraft paper

Abstract
The modified aluminum hydroxide(ATH)coated with cationic starch was used in the manufacture of flame retardant kraft paper.The results show that filling modified ATH can effectively improve the flame retardancy of kraft paper.When SATH3 is added 50%,the limiting oxygen index(LOI)of kraft paper is increased from 19.5%to 25.3%,and the flame retardant grade is increased to B1.Meanwhile,coating modification can effectively increase the Zeta potential of ATH and improve its retention rate during wet manufacturing.In addi-tion,cationic starch coating modification also enhances the adhesion between ATH and fi-bers,and improves the physical properties of kraft paper.Compared with ATH kraft paper,the tensile index and break index of modified ATH kraft paper were increased by 17.83%and 3.9%.Moreover,the kraft paper filled with modified ATH has good hydrophilicity and absorption,which will not have a negative impact on subsequent gluing and other processes.Obviously,the cationic coating modification of ATH can effectively improve the retention of ATH in wet manufacturing and enhance the bond between ATH and fibers,providing a new ideas for the application of ATH in flame retardant kraft paper.关键词
