Abstract
As an essential part of non-terrestrial networks,satellite communication networks provide wide coverage for remote areas,making them well-suited for maritime mobile communication.However,due to hardware limitations,a satellite can only serve a limited number of beams simultaneously.To expand satellite coverage,an enhancement scheme based on beam hopping technology is proposed,in line with the current 5G standards.The enhancements include extending the synchronization signal and common channel period to increase the number of beams that can be served,indicating the beam hopping service time to help users transmit and receive signals at the appropriate time,and enhancing timing according to service time to improve communication resource utilization efficiency.Evaluation results show that the proposed enhancement scheme significantly expands satellite coverage and substantially reduces the proportion of common channel resources.关键词
