Array-Level Full Duplex Self-Interference Suppression for High-Capacity Maritime Mobile Communication

Abstract
To increase the capacity of maritime mobile communication,extend communication coverage,and reduce transmission latency,an array-level full duplex architecture with dual-beam transmission is proposed.To address the significant self-interference from the transmit array to the receive array,a joint spatial-domain and digital-domain self-interference suppression algorithm is developed.In the spatial domain,an alternating iterative algorithm optimizes the transmit and receive beamforming weights.In the digital domain,reconstruction coefficients of a linear filter are calculated based on the least-squares criterion to reconstruct and cancel the self-interference signal,ultimately suppressing residual self-interference to the receiver noise floor.The theoretical analysis examines the maximum achievable effective isotropic isolation of the self-interference suppression algorithm.Both theoretical and simulation results demonstrate that the proposed self-interference suppression algorithm improves the isolation between transmit and receive arrays by 86.4 dB compared to conventional beamforming-based self-interference suppression techniques.关键词
