Abstract

Smart Ocean is a critical pathway to achieving the strategic goal of building a maritime power.5G-A(5G Advanced)technology,as an enhancement and evolution of 5G,introduces revolutionary innovations such as non-terrestrial network(NTN)-based integrated space-terrestrial communication,sensing-communication integration,and native intelligence,accelerating the development of smart ocean applications.For maritime scenarios,this study analyzes key 5G-A NTN technologies,including network architecture,time-frequency synchronization,timing management,transmission scheduling,and mobility management.A comprehensive 5G-A space-sea integrated networking solution is proposed,alongside the deep integration of 5G private networks with dual-satellite systems,achieving an upgraded 5G-enabled information and communication framework for smart ocean applications.Furthermore,key 5G-A sensing-communication integrated technologies,such as operational modes,sensing-communication architecture,air interface design,and intelligent target feature recognition,are analyzed.Based on maritime scenario characteristics and sensing indicator requirements,scenario-specific deployment schemes are designed to enable intelligent vessel recognition,real-time maritime monitoring,and enhanced maritime route safety.
