Abstract

Objective To explore the application value of endoscopic narrow-band imaging technique in the diagnosis of colon polypoid lesions.Methods 62 patients with colonic polypoid lesions admitted to our hospital from August 2021 to August 2023 were selected and given conventional endoscopy and endoscopic narrow-band imaging technique.Taking pathological diagnosis results as the gold standard,the diagnostic efficacy of single or combined examination for colon polypoid lesions.Results The pathological examination results confirmed that 97 lesions in 62 patients with colon polypoid lesions,including 57 neoplastic lesions and 40 non-neoplastic lesions.Conventional endoscopy revealed 39 neoplastic lesions and 40 non-neoplastic lesions.47 neoplastic lesions and 35 non-neoplastic lesions were detected by endoscopic narrow-band imaging technology.The combined examination showed 55 neoplastic lesions and 38 non-neoplastic lesions.The sensitivity and accuracy of conventional endoscopy combined with endoscopic narrow-band imaging technique in the diagnosis of colon polypoid lesions were higher than those of the single examination(P<0.05).Conclusions Endoscopic narrow-band imaging technique is of high value in the diagnosis of colon polypoid lesions,and the combined examination can improve the sensitivity and accuracy in the diagnosis of colonic polypoid lesions.
