Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of doxofylline combined with Turbuhaler in the treatment of elderly patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)and the impact on symptom relief.Methods 70 elderly AECOPD patients admitted to our hospital from October 2020 to October 2023 were selected and randomly divided into two groups equally.The control group was treated with doxofylline,while the observation group was treated with doxofylline combined with Turbuhaler.Both groups were treated for 14 days.The clinical efficacy,symptom relief time,and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.29％,higher than 77.14％of the control group(P<0.05).The fever relief time,pharyngeal pain disappearance time,cough disappearance time,pharyngeal congestion disappearance time,and wheezing disappearance time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).No statistical difference was found in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions Doxofylline combined with Turbuhaler has definite effect in the treatment of elderly AECOPD patients,which can effectively alleviate the symptoms,with higher safety,which is worthy of promotion.关键词
