Abstract
Objective To compare the effects of carotid endarterectomy(CEA)and carotid artery stenting(CAS)in patients with carotid artery stenosis.Methods 108 patients with carotid artery stenosis admitted to our hospital from August 2021 to May 2023 were selected and randomly divided into two groups equally.The control group received CAS,while the observation group received CEA.The clinical efficacy,neurological function,coagulation function,and complications were compared between two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After surgery,the NIHSS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the TT,APTT and PT were longer than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions CEA has significant effect in reducing neurological damage and improving coagulation function of CS patients,with fewer complications.关键词
