Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of dexamethasone combined with levofloxacin in the treatment of suppurative otitis media.Methods 68 patients with suppurative otitis media admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to June 2022 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,with 34 cases in each group.The control group was treated with levofloxacin,and the observation group was treated with dexamethasone combined with levofloxacin.Both groups were treated for 7 days.The clinical efficacy,hearing level,inflammatory indicators and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of air conduction hearing loss,bone conduction hearing loss,and the serum CRP,IL-6 and TNF-α in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).No statistical difference was found in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions Dexamethasone combined with levofloxacin has definite effect in the treatment of suppurative otitis media,which can restore the patients'hearing,and inhibit the inflammatory response,with high safety.关键词
