Application of Compositional Analysis in the Identification of Contaminant Properties

Abstract
Taking the illegal waste mineral oil in a certain ecological environment law enforcement case as the object to be identified,the pollutant properties of the samples were identified through on-site surveys,sample collection,and chemical analysis.The analysis results showed that the appearance of the object to be identified was similar to engine oil.Through comprehensive component analysis,the samples were confirmed to be waste mineral oil.Further tests revealed that the flammability test results of five out of seven samples exceeded the standard,which offended the stipulated minimum number of exceeding standard samples.In addition,the flash point temperature of the object was lower than 60℃,proving its flammability.In conclusion,the results indicated that the object was waste mineral oil and mineral oil-containing waste with the dangerous characteristic of flammability,which was hazardous waste.This discovery has significant guiding significance for ecological environment protection and the enforcement of related laws.关键词
