Effects of different agricultural wastes on the carbon and nitrogen transformation and losses during the process of treating chicken manure with black soldier fly

Abstract
In order to study the effects of adding different agricultural wastes on the carbon and nitrogen transformation and losses during the process of treating laying hens'manure with black soldier fly,this study selected bean dregs,vegetable waste and their 1∶1 combination as auxiliary materials and mixed them with fresh laying hens'manure according to equal weight ratio.Four treatments were set up as follows:chicken manure group(CK),vegetable waste addition group(VW),soybean dregs addition group(SD)and mixed vegetable waste and soybean dregs addition group(Mix).The effects of different agricultural waste additions on related parameters such as chicken manure biomass conversion,carbon and nitrogen loss and insect sand nutrient retention were determined and compared.The results showed that:Compared with CK,the insect biomass yield of VW,SD and Mix groups significantly increased by 15.60%-36.96%and the waste reduction rate by 5.51%-27.30%,and the biological conversion rate increased by 16.57%-39.35%(P<0.05).In addition,the total organic carbon content in the insect sand decreased by 16.94%-42.24%,and the total nitrogen content increased by 0.46%-9.63%(P<0.05).The fermentation parameters such as Gl index,humic substance and C/N reached the organic fertilizer standard.The addition of agricultural waste also reduced 12.26%-46.81%of NH3 volatilization,20.23%-42.48%of N2O emissions and 49.78%-57.27%of CH4 emissions(P<0.05).The cumulative emissions of VW and Mix decreased by 21.50%and 11.19%,respectively,compared with CK,and SD increased by 14.53%(P<0.05).The global warming potential of the agricultural waste addition groups was significantly reduced by 22.49%-45.27%(P<0.05).Among them,the group Mix had the best effect of sand rot and biotransformation,the least greenhouse gas emission,the better biomass production and carbon and nitrogen fixation ability,which was suitable for the green and efficient treatment of feces in laying hens.关键词
