Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of arthroscopic debridement combined with Modified Shentong Zhuyu Decoction on joint function in patients with acute traumatic synovitis of knee joint.Method:A total of 96 patients with acute traumatic synovitis of knee joint admitted to Xuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2020 to May 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 48 cases in each group.The control group underwent arthroscopic debridement,and the observation group was treated with Modified Shentong Zhuyu Decoction on the basis of the control group.Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,clinical efficacy,visual analogue scale(VAS)score,Lysholm knee joint score,Western Ontario and McMaster University osteoarthritis index(WOMAC)score,inflammation index before and after treatment and adverse reactions between two groups were compared.Result:After treatment,the main symptoms,secondary symptoms scores and total scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,VAS score and WOMAC score of observation group were lower than those in control group,Lysholm knee score was higher than that in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),human matrix metalloproteinase-3(MMP-3)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in observation group were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Arthroscopic debridement combined with Modified Shentong Zhuyu Decoction has a significant effect in the treatment of acute traumatic synovitis of knee joint,which is more conducive to the recovery of knee joint function,relieving pain,enhancing curative effect,and not increasing adverse reactions.关键词
